Düsseldorf is the capital city of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The city is situated in Western part of Germany. Rhine River flows through the city. The river is very fast. We didn't even try to swimm and just plunged several times in waters of The Rhine River on its left bank. All main attractions are gathered close to each other, around The Rhine Tower. You can walk around in Altstadt (The Old Town), then go for a walk along The Rhine Embankment Promenad. Following the Promenad you reach The Rhine Tower. It is not expensive to get to the observation desk of the TV Tower and enjoy amaizing views of Düsseldorf from a height of 160 metres. Then you go to see three buildings of Neuer Zollhof or Der Neue Zollhof (The New Zollhof) and Roggendorf House. By the way, there is a cosy sand beach in Mediahafen where you can have a picnic and enjoy great views of bridge over Rhine River and Altstadt etc. A small bridge from the Rhine Tower is leading to the beach. Every year in May Dusseldorf celebrates the Japan Day. There is a big Japan community in the city. And On the Japan Day crowds of people dressed up as characters of Japan movies, Anime, Comics, Computer Games gather in Altstadt and walk along The Promenade. You definitely should walk down Kiefernstrasse. Each building of the street is a masterpiece of graffiti and has its own face and spirit. The entire street is full of street art of all kinds.
