From Dusseldorf to Cologne. Germany.

Our walk from Dusseldorf to Cologne was amazing. Our way took around 10 hours. We walked along The River Rhine. We passed through little towns and villages. We enjoyed great views of the river and nature. We passed by corn field etc. We liked our travel from Dusseldorf to Cologne very much !
Cologne is the fourth most populous city in Germany after Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich. Its population was 1,075,935 inhabitants in 2016. The city is divided into two parts by The River Rhine.
The Hohenzollern Bridge over The River Rhine is one of tourist attractions. There are millions of ove padlock hanging on its walls. It looks amazing !
The second interesting place to visit is The Cologne Cathedral/Der Kölner Dom. Tourists can observe wonderful views of the city from the top of The Cathedral.
We also liked walk along The River Rhine. There is a rope way over The River Rhine in a distance from The Hohenzollern Bridge. It is called Die Kölner Seilbahn you can enjoy a wonderful ride and look at the city from other side.
All main attractions such as The Cologne Cathedral, Die Kölner Seilbahn and The Hohenzollern Bridge are situated nearby The Central Station.
Cologne has its own atmosphere. The city has its own face. It was very hot when we pay the city a visit.
By the way, near the city there is Bayer Factory.

Travel the world, it makes us better !

Tver is a city in around 183 km away from Moscow. The city was founded around 1135. The city is divided into two parts by The River Volga. Despite of its age and power in the past, Tver is an relatively poor city.
It's possible to get to Tver from Moscow by 'normal' and high-speed trains. The high-speed trains go to Tver for 2 hours.
There is an amusement park on one side of the river and a good beach on the other one. People use The River Volga here for canoeing, rowing and fishing.
M. Krug, a famous Russian chansonnier, was born in the city in 1962 and was killed in his home here in 2002. He loved Tver very much and dedicated songs to the city.
Afanasy Nikitin was a Russian merchant who was born in Tver and one of the first Europeans who traveled to India. He described his trip in a narrative known as The Journey Beyond Three Seas
We like to visit Tver durin the summertime for swimming in The River Volga and walking around because there are picturesque places in the city and outside of it.

Our holiday in Germany was cool !

Germany is a big country in Europe. Its economy is strong. The country has islands in The North Sea.
People living in Germany are friendly and theay always are ready to help a tourist. German cities/towns are very different to each other. Germany is a multicultural country in which live people having so different ihabits, views of life etc. Each place we visited surprised us with something ! We came back home with lots of good impressions, fueled by very positive emotions ! We learnt how to cook new dishes, we tried new food and drinks, we played new games etc.
