World Travel Events

The world is beautiful and interesting, explore it with us !

Welcome to Denmark.

Denmark is a Scandinavian country comprising the Jutland Peninsula and numerous islands.
On holiday in Denmark we visited Copenhagen, Vordingborg and village Orslev. We visited Moen island, Masnedo island and Falster islands riding our scooters.
There are many beautiful castles in Denmark. It seems every city has its own castle and rich history. Outside Copenhagen we visited Kronborg Castle, Fredensborg Castle and Frederiksborg Castle.
One of the most interesting tourist attractions in Copenhagen is Christiania which is sometimes called District of Hippie, where everyone can buy marihuana. But it's strictly prohibited to take dgrugs to the city. This area has its own laws and is a kind of independent territory inside Copenhagen.

According to the United Nations World Happiness Report, the Gallup World Poll, and the European Sociological Survey, Denmark almost always ranks first in the rankings of the happiest nation in the world. I assure you it is !
Freedom, healthy and delicious food, the Baltic Sea, open and friendly People, the biggest shopping street (here you can find everything, even the famous Jysk furniture store that left Russia), smorrebreds and sweet herring, Licorice which is very popular here, Lego and Bluetooth ( the latter is named after one of the ancient Danish kings), an abundance of pubs with the best beer and many chic museums, Tivoli Park, cozy and warm atmosphere with ideal infrastructure and the widest bike paths in the world. The homeland of Christian Andersen reminds me of a childhood fairy tale... It's impossible to list everything! Welcome to Paradise !

Christiania

Freetown Christiania, is an intentional community and commune of about 850 to 1,000 residents, covering 7.7 hectares in the borough of Christianshavn in the Danish capital city of Copenhagen on the island of Amager.
Christiania has been a source of controversy since its creation in a squatted military area in 1971. Its cannabis trade was tolerated by authorities until 2004. Since then, relations between Christiania and Danish authorities have been strained. Since the beginning of the 2010s, the situation has been somewhat normalized and Danish law is now enforced in Christiania.

Kronborg is a castle and stronghold in the town of Helsingør, Denmark, which was mentioned as Elsinore in William Shakespear's play Hamlet. Kronborg is one of the most important Renaissance castles in Northern Europe and has been added to UNESCO's World Heritage Sites list (2000).

FREDERIKKE

“Fred” means peace in Danish and Frederikke is a scrapwood street art sculpture Thomas Dambo and his crew made after the terrorist attacks in Paris and Copenhagen in 2015. Frederikke is a peace bringing woman who breaks guns, hoping to bring an end to all the shootings and violent acts caused by political and religious conflicts around the world.
Thomas and his two assistants installed Frederikke in a popular area in the diverse neighborhood, Nørrebro, in Copenhagen. Though they didn’t get permission to do this by the city, the locals greeted Frederikke with lots of love and she has now become a symbol in Nørrebro.
Frederikke is built from scrap wood found around the area of Frederiksberg in Copenhagen.

Welcome to Germany. Deutschland.

In Germany I stayed in Dusseldorf where visited or saw almost all its sightseeings. I visited The RheinTurm (Rhine Tower), walked along Rhine river; visited Altstadt every day; enjoyed with friends celebration The Japan Day and fireworks in the evening. I visited pubs situated on the longest street of pubs in the world.
From Dusseldorf to Copenhagen we traveled by bus through Dortmund, Hannover, Hamburg. Then we continued our travel by train to Puttgarden. And finally we took ferry to Rodby, Denmark. Then I flew to Berlin.

An occasion to drink beer, the very thing that Yuri Gagarin drank. The Danish brewing company Carlsberg (brands Carlsberg, Kronenbourg, Holsten, Tuborg, the owner of the Baltika breweries) has decided to leave Russia completely. I tried their Danish varieties, very fragrant and tasty. They also produced the most expensive beer, because the batch was limited due to wheat...
P. S. Carlsberg Vintage. This drink costs $395 a bottle. Sold only in a few restaurants in Copenhagen. Only 600 bottles are produced per year. The cost of the first batch was 2008 Danish kroner, which corresponded to the year of issue.

Vilnius, Capital of Lithuania.

Best places to visit in Vilnius.

Vilnius, Lithuania’s capital, is known for its baroque architecture, seen especially in its medieval Old Town. But the buildings lining this district’s partially cobblestoned streets reflect diverse styles and eras, from the neoclassical Vilnius Cathedral to Gothic St. Anne's Church. The 16th-century Gate of Dawn, containing a shrine with a sacred Virgin Mary icon, once guarded an entrance to the original city.
Vilnius is in southeastern Lithuania and is the second-largest city in the Baltic states. It is the seat of Lithuania's national government and the Vilnius District Municipality.
In 2009, Vilnius was the European Capital of Culture, together with Linz, Austria. In 2021 Vilnius was named among top-25 fDi's Global Cities of the Future – one of the most forward-thinking cities with the greatest potential in the World.
Planning a spring holiday in Vilnius, but also want to enjoy the beauty of awaikining nature? Well you are in luck, because nearly half of Vilnius is green space - about 3 times more than Amsterdam, Berlin and Warsaw. As well Vilnius air is the cleanest among all European capital cities! To enjoy fresh air and nature to the fullest we recommend to explore local parks.

Welcome to Vilnius, Lithuania.

The Cathedral Basilica of St Stanislaus and St Ladislaus of Vilnius is the main Roman Catholic Cathedral of Lithuania. It is situated in Vilnius Old Town, just off Cathedral Square.

Not many people know that this apple sculpture is dedicated to kindness, generosity and help. The apple is engraved with over 80 family names of notable Lithuanians who were and are engaged in charity and social work. The names include historical Lithuanian personalities dating back to XVI century as well as contemporary benefactors.

At the heart of Vilnius' many waterways is the Neris River, flowing through the center of the city and spanned by a number of bridges.
The river Neris or Viliya rises in northern Belarus. It flows westward, passing through Vilnius and in the south-centre of that country it flows into the Nemunas, at Kaunas, as its main tributary.
The River Neris undulates through the heart of Vilnius, passing iconic attractions such as Gediminas Castle, the Lithuanian Parliament and UNESCO Old Town.

When you go to Vilnius, you will understand, that the city has a lot of churches. But St Peter and St Paul is the nicest of them all. So this is the one church you can't miss during your stay in Vilnius. The entire church is creamy white and everything is so holy and fine. We appreciated the carving, statues and everything. Just keep in mind, it's outside of the old town.

The church is a 17th-century basilica.
