Holiday in Berlin, Germany.

A part of our holiday that we spent in Berlin was great! We saw and visited many tourist atrractions and non-tourist places. Berlin is a diverse city.
East part of Berlin looks like Moscow, the capital of Russia in the times of the Soviet Union. There are buildings from 50th and there are buildings from 70th.
West part of Berlin looks different.
One day we opened a couple of bottles of beer and settled down on a bench on Leopoldplatz.
Two policemen came and said that we are not allowed to drink alcohol drinks being in public places. For example, any Platz is a public place as they said.
We visited The Dom of Reichstag. The entrance was free. We just booked our visit in advance via their website and showed our documents on day and hour we had choosen at the entrance.
The Dom is very impressive. Views from the roof are great!
Nearby Reichstag there is Brandenburg Gate.
Of course, we visited Alexanderplatz and saw The World Time Clock.
We also visited The CheckPoint Charlie and we found this place very busy and not so attractive.
We liked very much East Side Gallery which is a part of Berlin Wall. There often are crowds of tourist and many thiefs !
We were fully satisfied with our days in Berlin, Germany !

Welcome to Berlin !

Hamburg, Germany.

Hamburg is the second-largest city of Germany with a population of roughly 1.8 million people. Hamburg is situated on the river Elbe and is home to Europe's second-largest port. The city is an international and domestic tourist destination.
During our holiday in Hamburg we found the city very clean and sportive.
There are many places to visit in Hamburg. Every summer you can enjoy Water-light concerts at Planten un Blomen park. The 110-metre-high (361-foot) Elbphilharmonie concert hall provides free tickets to its balcony from which everyone can enjoy wonderful views of The Port of Hamburg and HafenCity. If the weather is fine and it is a hot summer day you can visit the beach located in Altona borough and swim in the River Elbe.
Everyone can visit other side of the River Elbe where The Port Of Hamburg is situated. This is an industrial part of the city. You can get there via The Old Elbe Tunnel of Hamburg. It is a pedestrian and vehicle tunnel opened in 1911. The tunnel was built for port workers who needed a new and more modern and comfortable way to get to their work.
The Inner and Outer Alster Lakes are situated in central part of Hamburg. They are formed by the Alster River. The Lakes and its shores are used by the inhabitants of Hamburg and tourists for many recreational purposes, such as sailing and rowing, running etc.
Hamburg is a wonderful city which has a rich history and penty things to see and to do.

Welcome to the city of Hamburg !

Unforgettable Summer.

During this summer we travelled across Germany. We visited many interesting places and met many good, positive people.
We travelled from one place to another by Flixbus. It is cheaper to book tickets on-line and get them on your smartphone. When boarding just provide a bar-code to driver; he will scan it and if everything's ok, let you in.
Sometimes we walked a number of kilometres from a city to a village. And it gave us an amazing experience ! It's so cool to see non-tourist places; it is wonderful to see what is life like far from tourist centres !
We like Germany very much ! German people are positive and always ready to help. Many thanks to all people who helped us to make our German Holiday so great !

Long live Germany !
